My Macbook

Is that a Macbook I see on my bed? :-) Ok. I junked the idea of buying a PSP. I bought a Macbook instead. I wanted the PSP for wifi so I thought why not buy a computer instead. I've always wanted one so there. Ang ganda! :-)

First the iPod. Now there’s the iPhone. But before all of that, there was the iPis.

Gaming in Cream Pink

My covetousness has once again been awakened. I feel that my DS Lite replacement is coming very soon. My brother got himself a silver PSP last week and he’s loving it. I’m envious. I’ve always wanted one for myself but the urge just got stronger when I got to hold one in my hands. Ang sarap! You will be mine. Hehehehehe.

The Best Things in Life

Some of the best things in life happen by accident. They come when you are totally not prepared for them. The best thing a clueless guy can do is to just let himself bathe in the moment's glory, to let himself soak in the warmth happy feeling of having everything that is good. He should let all his senses absorb the sights, the sounds, the touch, the taste of all of what he is blessed. He should not let any of the goodness escape him, because in a blink, all of that may be gone. In a snap of a finger, like it never happened.

juOnBox Music 21: Jump

You want something? Now is the time to get it. Jump and reach for it.

Confessions on a Dancefloor

There's only so much you can learn in one place
The more that I wait, the more time that I waste

I haven't got much time to waste
It's time to make my way
I'm not afraid of what I'll face
But I'm afraid to stay
I'm going down my road and I can make it alone
I'll work and I'll fight till I find a place of my own

Are you ready to jump
Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back oh baby
Yes, I'm ready to jump
Just take my hand
get ready to jump

We learned out lesson from the start
My sisters and me
The only thing you can depend on
Is your family
Life's gonna drop you down like a limb from a tree
It sways and it swings and it bends until it makes you see

Are you ready?

There's only so much you can learn in one place
The more that you wait
The more time that you waste

I'll work and I'll fight till I find a place of my own

It sways and it swings and it bends until you make it your own

I can make it alone [repeat]
(my sisters and me)

Jeepney Hunk 19: Campus Tour: The Eagle Down South

An athlete from the Eagle in Davao, Yanex here sure is a jock. Aren’t these pictures proof enough? His face looks so angelic, innocent. But when he raises that shirt, you’ll get an idea how bad he can get. Doesn’t he wanna make you feel like taking really good care of him?

Double Caramel Dipped Apples from SanFo Treats

If you love apples and caramel, you’ll love this. I did. I am first of all a big fan of anything caramel. So when I saw the SanFo Treats kiosk right in front of Toy Kingdom in Megamall last week, I swore I’d sample everything caramel (and chocolate) covered apple they have there. Yesterday I started with the double caramel dipped apple, which according to the sales lady, is their best seller. I wasn’t disappointed. The sweet crunchy apple was covered with a thick layer of soft candy caramel. Delicious. A word of warning though if you’re wearing dentures: the caramel is a little gummy so it sticks to the mouth. That could make eating this treat a little trickier for you. Other than that, it’s pure heaven.

Aside from caramel and chocolate covered apples, SanFo Treats also has rice crispy cups; frozen bananas covered in chocolate, peanuts, sprinkles, and white choco swirls; chocolate covered marshmallows, and caramel smores poppers.
You can find SanFo Treats in Megamall, Glorietta (in front of tag Heuer), and The Fun Ranch (beside Tiendesitas).

Mister Solver

Darkly mysterious Mister Solver
Will you tell me the answer?
Will you give me the key?
Will you enlighten me?
Please show me the solution
To the complicated proposition
That only you Mister Solver
To solve has the power

Mister Solver flash me that smile
Stop here even just for a while
Talk to me Mister Solver
Don’t worry it won’t take forever
I know you are busy going around having fun
You are a property hotter than the sun
But Mister Solver if you want to stay
I’ll never stop listening to you all night and day.

Coffee Trip Galore

I love coffee! I love it best piping hot. I love mint in my coffee. I also love it plain black. I love coffee with chocolate. I love Mister Donut’s brewed coffee. I love Nescafe 3in1, SanMig Coffee Mild Sugar Free, Maxwell House Coffee Sugar Free, and Kafe de Oro Stick Sugar Free! I was for years a 3-in-1 coffee baby and I will forever be that. Ang mahal kaya ng designer coffee! But I guess it won’t hurt to try them at least once. I just hope I don’t get addicted. (That means a whole lot of luck on me because I tend to get addicted to anything easily.) So now I plan to get down to going around to searching for the best coffee in town.

I mentioned I love mint in my coffee so I decided to start my coffee trip galore with Figaro’s Mint Mocha.

I planned to take pictures of the coffee first before I dig in but when the waiter served it, it looked so yummy I forgot about the picture and started eating the cold cream topping! I had to stop myself, and with some disappointment at that. I had a hunch that since the cream topping was chilled, the coffee would be lukewarm. I was right. I want my coffee hot. Nevertheless, the mint made my Saturday coffee trip worthwhile.

Sunday was Gonuts Donuts Hazelnut Flavored Coffee day. This one was hot. I loved it because of that except that it was too sweet. And I bet the servers didn’t know that because they still gave me a sachet of sugar. It’s a good thing I didn’t use it because I reckon the flavor they stirred in was already sweet. And the coffee was heaven as usual because of the caramel mocha donut I ate with it. (Some habits are hard to break. At least it’s not vanilla anymore.)

Now just last night I tried Le Coeur De France’s Hot Orange Choco. Yeah it’s not coffee. But hey it’s still got caffeine! The presentation was lovely! It had cream topping, a chocolate stick, and a cookie on the side. And it was great with red cherry pie! But it was a big disappointment for me because I couldn’t figure out the orange in the choco. And it wasn’t hot!

If you got some coffee place to recommend, I’d love that. Let me know.

It’s funny how it’s harder for me to sit down these days to write about my life when there are so many things going on worth writing about! Pucha! Where’s my muse (or escort?) kase! )
