Finally after weeks of mulling over what earbud upgrade (for the nth time) to get, I settled with buying myself the Sennheiser MX 70 Sport. This is after last night when I was comparing my stock earbuds with my half-busted Sennheiser MX 450 and half-busted Griffin EarThumps. I narrowed my choice to getting another pair of EarThumps to any Sennheiser model because of my previous experience with the two brands. I decided on the Senn hands down after comparing the two’s sound quality and volume. I bought my MX 70 Sport just this lunch and I’m listening to music using it now. My new pair went way past my expectations. I won’t compare it anymore with the EarThumps because it’ll be like comparing a 5-star hotel to Sogo Motel. But compared to my MX 450, the MX 70 Sport is way up the happy scale in terms of sound quality. Don’t ask me to describe it any further because I’m no freakin’ audiophile. And that’s the thing. The difference was so great I actually noticed it. And the neon green color is just so…me. Plus since it's water and sweat proof, it's actually washable says in the literature. Consider this post a recommendation in the highest degree.
blogging's like slicing your brain to thin strips, salting em, and then drying em under the sun. It'll be fun watching every drop of moisture evaporating from them, each strip curling up like besuto prawn crackers when dropped in steaming hot oil. I could even hear them crackling.
Hi Chas. I haven't tried Koss myself. I'll check it out when my Senns die on me. :-)
